Inniú rinne mé dhá seisiún. Ar maidín bhí mé sa gym ag dul don forbairt cumhachta. Rinne mé roinnt léim, cumhacht snatch, léim ghogaireachtaí, gogaireachtaí tosaigh, agus roinnt iomair cromtha. Ní dhearna mé móran dul chun cinn in sna meacháin i gcompráid le na seisiún a chuagh thart ach bhí sé maith a bheith sa gym arís. Ag a 2 a chlog, rinne mé roinnt iomáint sa halla agus roinnt ceapadh faoi bhrú. Dhírigh mé isteach ar chaighdeán an luascadh camán agus teagmháil maith leis an sliotar. Rinne mé roinnt scaoileamh ó na glúna le beidim an chuir ar an teagmháil idir camán agus sliotar. Rud amháin atá cinnte, ní féidir dul chun cinn a dhéanamh sna cluichí má tá an treanáil fadalach. Caithfear díriú isteach ar dhul chun cinn agus an caighdeán agus an luas a bhrú suas. Amarach, roinnt scileanna ar maidín, agus seisiún foirne um thráthnóna.

I did two sessions today. In the morning i did a power session in the gym with some jumps, power snatch, jump squats, fromt squats, and some bent over rows. I didnt progress much interms of weights lifted but it was good to be in the gym today after all the games in the past 2 weeks. At 2 o clock I did some hurling in the hall. I concentrated on quality of striking, and good contact between the ball and stick. I took some shots from the knees to emphasisie the stick/ ball contact. One things for sure, I wont improve in the games if the training is slow and without purpose. The quality and speed must be pushed up at all times. Tomorrow some skills in the morning, and team session in the afternoon.
